My name is Sheri. I have been happily married to my best friend, Robert "Mac" McAninch for over 3 decades. We have 4 pretty awesome children: Sarah, 26 (and her husband Jerod) ; Andrew, 25 (and his wife Savannah) ; Elizabeth, 20; and Rachel, 15.

My journey with photography started when my oldest was born. I wanted a good camera to capture all of the typical milestones. Over the years, my love for the craft grew as I documented their sports and extracurricular activities. I finally decided to take some classes from a local community college and never looked back.

The classes I took opened up a new world of possibilities for me. I learned about different techniques and the importance of lighting and composition. It was fascinating to see how these elements could transform a simple photo into a work of art.

As I honed my skills, friends and family began to notice the quality of my photos and started asking me to capture their special moments. This encouragement led me to start MacSnaps Photography. It has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to connect with others and share in their joyful occasions.

I draw inspiration from everyday life and the beauty that surrounds us. Whether it's a candid moment at a family gathering or the serene landscape of a quiet morning, there's always a story waiting to be told through my lens.

I am excited to continue this journey, constantly learning and evolving as a photographer. My goal is to create images that not only capture moments but also evoke emotions and tell stories that will be cherished for years to come.
